Gaps exist with student experience and ability, resulting in a need to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs.  This is where technology comes in!  It is a flexible and very motivating medium that prepares students for the authentic experiences of the real world.

Differentiation can take place via the curricular content, the process of learning, the end product, or environment in the classroom.   The most effective way to illustrate this is by walking through the steps of a successful project.  This particular project is geared toward  3rd graders, however, it can be tailored to meet the needs of any grade level and with any subject.
